Step into the world behind the lens 🎥

💥The last days of our 10-day documentary film workshop in Palermo have been all around understanding the technical parts of the camera, exploring framing, composition and natural light.

The workshop is facilitated at the Women and Girls Safe Center by @centro_penc_palermo

The project is co-funded by the European Union.

#INTERNATIONAL_GIRL_DAY 🌈

From the 1st to the 3rd of April, 2023, the @snfcc presented the first @wow_athens festival.

@ggm_greece documented each day of the festival, taking us on a journey behind the scenes.

@wow_athens 2023, presented in Greece in cooperation with the @britishcouncil and with the support of British Embassy Athens, included speeches by Greek and foreign guests, discussions, exhibitions, workshops, mentoring sessions, educational programs, concerts, and much more, in an ambitious event aiming to empower women and feminities in tackling the barriers and inequalities they encounter daily, and celebrate the victories won to date as well as the people behind them and their inspiring stories. Diverse and interdisciplinary, the festival focuses on present-day Greek reality, while also looking at shared concerns and challenges from across the globe.
