Global Girl Media Germany is a non-profit organization that aims to make it easier for girls and women, primarily from disadvantaged backgrounds, such as those with a migration background or refugee experience, to gain access to the media sector. Through a variety of projects and activities, the association helps to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the media sector and at the same time promote equal opportunities.

Global Girl Media Germany produces its own films on various topics that address important social concerns. The participants have the opportunity to get to know all the steps of film production, from idea generation to script writing and post-production.
