GENERAL INTERN NEEDED

Seeking a short-term or long-term unpaid intern/volunteer for Global Girl Media, a non-profit initiative that trains girls in developing countries and under-served US communities in new media citizen journalism.

We are seeking volunteers who can help with the following:

• Help with graphic design and web design, social marketing research and planning. Knowledge of how to use Twitter, Google, Facebook, WordPress, Pinterest, etc.
• Volunteer to help with general event planning for fundraisers
• Research funding and grants

We produce many videos throughout the year and are interested in people with editing and production skills, as well. This is a great opportunity for students majoring in Film, Journalism/Communications, Sociology, Women/Feminist Studies who want to connect with seasoned female writers, journalists, documentary filmmakers and multimedia makers.

BOOKKEEPING INTERN NEEDED

• Monthly reconciling of Quickbooks
• Budgeting
