FREE CHILD PROJECT
The Freechild Project believes that access is a key issue for many young people who are working to create media that represents their voice and experience. MEDIA HELPING MEDIA
Media Helping Media (MHM) exists to provide free training resources for those involved in the media in transition states, post-conflict countries and areas where the media is still developing.
TRUST MEDIA
TrustMedia has a variety of training materials for journalists, from those who are new to the profession to veterans who want to expand or refresh their skills. Our collection of digital training manuals ranges from basic skills like reporting, writing and cultivating sources to new-media training, such as our guide for citizen journalists.These manuals provide information, case studies and tools to learn the basics or advanced skills of journalism.
MEDIA COLLEGE
MediaCollege.com is a free educational website for all forms of electronic media. We have hundreds of exclusive tutorials covering video & television production, audio work, photography, graphics, web design and more. You’ll also find utilities, reference material (e.g. user manuals), industry news and a helpful forum.
GLOBAL ACTION
The product of over two decades of experience, Global Action Project’s Media In Action Curriculum is available here for free download. Grab it, read it, use it, adapt it, and tell us how it worked (or didn’t) for you. Global Action Project developed the Media In Action Curriculum through its after-school media arts programs and, more recently, its Media in Action trainings.
